Mary G. Dunn

Born in South Boston, Mary was the daughter of the late John and M. Ethel (Melanson) Ronan. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1934.

Prior to her retirement in 1975, Mary spent over 37 years as an Inspector for the General Electric Co. She later worked at Puritan Medical Center for 5 years.

Mary was a former member of the Retired Men’s & Women’s Club at the YMCA. She was a longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church and also attended St. Pius V Church for many years. She was an avid music lover and until recently, played the piano daily for the residents at the Brightview in Danvers. She enjoyed many great years of traveling with her dear cousin, Alma Collins and also the Burns family.

She leaves her grandchildren: Nicole Miserandino and her husband Vincent of Topsfield and Michael Dunn and his wife Robin of North Andover. She was the Great Grandmother to Isabella and Juliana Dunn and Anna and Vincenzo Miserandino IV. She was the mother-in-law to Jeanette Dunn of Beverly and was the mother of the late Denis M. Dunn.

Mary’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 3-7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 75 Sylvan St. Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
