Born in Lynn, Marie was the daughter of the late Louis A. Curdo, Sr., and Mae (Brien) Curdo. She attended St. Mary’s Elementary and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School class of 1941.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at G.E. as a cost clerk for 42 years. Marie was a Communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. She loved traveling, watching the Red Sox and spending time with her friends. Marie enjoyed spending time in her home. She treasured time with her family especially her 2 youngest great nephews. Marie was a very generous person and gave to many charities. She always put other people’s needs before her own. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.
Marie leaves her sister, Linda Gagnon and her husband George of Lynn. She is predeceased by her brother Louis Curdo, Jr. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and several great nephews.
Marie’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple Street Lynn on Friday at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church 758 Salem St. Lynnfield at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Jean’s Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-7PM.
