Lois Joan Berry

Lois J. (Millner) Berry, age 65 years, of Melrose, formerly of Lynn, passed away on Friday August 28,, 2015 in Melrose at her late residence. She was the wife of the late Robert Berry. Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Madalyn (Pratt) Millner. Lois was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School with the class of 1968 and earned her hairdressing degree from the Labaron Cosmetology School in Lynn.

Mrs. Berry had been employed for many years as a Hairdresser.

Lois enjoyed going the to beach, bowling, dancing and vacationing during the winter in Englewood, FL.

She is survived by her life partner, Joseph MacDonald of Melrose; two sisters, Diane Verdini & her husband Gustavo of Lynn and Gail Collins & her husband Edward of Peabody; one brother, Lawrence Millner & his wife Theresa of Salem; step children, Robert Berry of Lynn, Ronald Berry of Saugus, Randy Berry of Lynn Debra Ann Wolf of SC, Donna MacDonald of Melrose, Joseph MacDonald Jr of Danvers and Dale Currier-Lydiard of NH; her best friend, Elizabeth LeBrasseur of Lynn and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Also survived by her Shih Tzu dog Romeo. She was also the mother of the late Keith A. Berry, step mother of the late Judy Berry and sister of the late Leslie Millner Jr and Beverlee Botta.

Lois’s Funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Wednesday,September 2, 2015 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Pius Church, Lynn at 10 AM. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm.
