Leander "Lee" Alston Sr.

Leander W. “Lee” Alston Sr., age 48, of Lynn, formerly of East Boston, tragically passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 surrounded by his family after a sudden illness. He was the devoted and loving husband of Miranda (Wilson) Alston.

Born and raised in East Boston, Lee attended East Boston High School. After high school, he went on to work in the restaurant industry as a cook. In his spare time, Lee loved watching mob movies and shows, singing and dancing to his favorite music, and above all, spending time with and providing for his family. Sundays were his days devoted to family time. Lee was proud of his Boston heritage and showed his love for the city by wearing his Boston Adidas apparel.

In addition to his wife Miranda, he leaves behind his children Jared, Katelyn, Lee Jr. and Devyn. He is also survived by his parents, Regina Flint Alston and Gene Alston and his sister, Sonia Carnazzo. Lee was also the proud grandfather of Kahlia Alston and Charlotte McBay, devoted uncle to his niece and nephews, cherished cousin, and the treasured son-in-law of Kathy and James Dalessandro.

Visiting hours for Lee will be held on Friday, March 3rd from 2PM-6PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, MA 01904.
