Born in Lynn, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Anthony Porro and Mary (Ciccio) Porro and was a graduate of the Lynn English High School Class of 1954.
Elizabeth worked for AT&T, in operator services, as a schedule clerk for 33 years and then spent 11 years working for the Essex County Correctional Facility as an intake worker before retiring in 1999.
She was a proud member of the New England Telephone Pioneers and also enjoyed gardening in her free time. She loved planting in her back and front yards with seasonal flowers as well as keeping family gravesites filled with beautiful seasonal plants and flowers. Over the years, Elizabeth enjoyed the companionship of her many pet cats, and above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Elizabeth leaves behind her sisters Antoinette (Porro) Clark of Bradford and Natalie (Porro) Johnson of Arizona and her brother Robert Porro of Alton, NH. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her brothers Ernest, Alfred, and Armand Porro.
On the request of the family Funeral Services will be held privately.
