Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine Finnegan. She attended Peabody Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School. She previously resided in both Swampscott and Marblehead before settling in Lynn.
Prior to her retirement, Marion worked in the Computer Division for the GE Riverworks for many years. She was a former Riverette. Marion also enjoyed bingo, her trips to Foxwoods and taking care of her nieces and nephews.
She leaves three nieces, Judy DesFosses and her husband Tom of Peabody, Mary “Mae” DeLuca and her husband Anthony “Skippy” of Lynn and Kathy Hall and her husband Fletcher of Salem; three nephews, Michael Kenny of Peabody, Shawn Kenny and his wife Angel of West Newfield, ME and Steven Kenny of Madison, NH. She was the sister of Anna Kenny of Peabody and the late Margaret Wentzell and Barbara Crocker. Also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Visitation in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday from 11:30AM-1PM followed by a Prayer Service at 1:00PM. At the request of the family, burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Marion’s memory may be sent to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
