She was the loving mother of her hero Chantal and her husband Kell; the adoring grandmother of Blake; the loving sister of Mary “Pauline” and her husband Mark; and Steven and his wife Suzanne. She was predeceased by a brother Ronald “Ronnie” Hannan. Brenda is also survived by a niece Morgan and nephew Mark, Jr. and many treasured friends. She leaves her devoted fiancee Patrick, whom she loved very much.
Brenda was an unforgettable person; with her quick wit, big heart and abundance of kindness and generosity, she touched everyone in her life that had the pleasure of meeting her. Always a great friend, Brenda always knew how to make everyone around her laugh and smile. Many will remember her for her attention to detail. She was often very polished looking with her hair and nails done to perfection and loved to accessorize.
In her younger days, she would often sing karaoke at different locations around Lynn; she quickly became known for her beautiful voice. She was very social, loved going to lunch or shopping with the girls, or drinking coffee with her neighbors. Brenda also was an avid traveler. Her favorite spots of all were to anywhere with a beach. Myrtle Beach was one of her absolute favorites, since that’s where her favorite people are. She had a keen eye for shoes of every variety and would do a happy dance for a new Michael Kors bag. Most of all, Brenda was most excited in life about becoming a grandmother. She was there when he was born. Her grandson Blake was the very heart of her life. She looked forward to every visit with him and shared many pictures and videos of him with her family and friends.
Brenda’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Brenda’s funeral service and burial are private and are under the care of the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, MA.
