Edward L. Schneider

Born on February 7, 1938 in Alabama, NY, he was the son of the late Lewis and Dorothy (Henzler) Schneider.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and on returning home he married the former Antoinette Withey, together they made their home on Ridge Rd. He was employed for twenty years as a Officer with NYS Corrections, retiring in 2003 and enjoyed watching television and trains.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Antoinette, children, Edward Schneider II and LeAnn Schneider, both of Medina, a special little girl, Peyton, two sisters, Thelma Stawicki of Medina, Dorothy Butterbaugh of FL. Several nieces and nephews, three special boys and a friend named Moose.

There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
