Tyler Landon Sassard, 25, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022. He was born on November 15, 1996 in Lynchburg to Dianna Michelle Lipscomb and the late Tyrone Lewis Sassard. Tyler was preceded in death by a grandmother Shirley Brim Harrell.
Tyler often attended Christian View Missionary Baptist Church in Spencer, VA. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, rapping, making music, being in music videos and also playing video games among other activities. He is a graduate of Brookville High School class of 2015 and attended Central Virginia Community College for computer programming. He did Door dash like nobody’s business (He Loved It).
Tyler is survived by his mother, Dianna Lipscomb, grandmother, Linda Higginbotham, grandfather, Walter Harrell, devoted uncle, Jonathan Lipscomb, aunt, Angelica Holmes (Tony), Cousins, Demetrious Jones, Octavia Lipscomb, Leticia Lipscomb, Jonathan Lipscomb, Jr. and their mother Cherry Lipscomb, and by two great cousins Osaze Turner and Omari Turner.
Tyler has very devoted friends, there are so many I cannot name them all. Every one of you meant the world to him.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Prayer of Faith Temple. 3100 Hill Street, Lynchburg with Pastor Golden Darby officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, March 18, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
