Obituary of Terrance Guy Logan
Terrance Guy Logan, 81, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022. Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, June 30, 1941, he was the son of the late Jack P. Logan and Dorothy Johnson Logan. Terry proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. He earned a BS degree in Liberal Arts and Science from the University of Illinois, a Master’s degree in Science from Lynchburg College and a Master’s degree in Science and Administration from George Washington University. He was retired from BWXT following a 48-year career. Terry was an avid runner and ran in the Virginia 10 miler for a number of years. He also had his private pilot’s license and enjoyed flying to have lunch with his daughter in North Carolina. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Anne Christensen Logan, two sons, Erik Logan and his wife Flora and Brent Logan and his wife Justina; one daughter, Suzanne Mebane and her husband Dennis; two brothers, Jack Logan and wife Shirley and Rickie Logan; one sister, Linda Hernandez and husband Luis and seven grandchildren, Jayden Mebane, Stephanos Logan, Julia Mebane, Mara Logan, Issandra Castillo, Isaac Castillo and Jessyca Castillo. A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Celebrant Polly Starnes officiating.
