Born in Lynchburg, May 24, 1956, she was the daughter of the late John “Johnny” Barricks and Bernice May Burnette Wood.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Buck Martin, one daughter, Amanda Martin Samuels and her fiancé Ted Drewry; one step-son, Mark Anthony Martin, one brother, Wayne Barricks; three granddaughters, Melody, Lexie, and Olivia ; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Ernest Barricks and her step son, John Claude Martin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Cumbie Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Wallin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
