Ronald Jason Candler, age 45 of Lynchburg, husband of Jennifer Carolyn Koran Candler, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
He was born on April 2, 1973 in Lynchburg, son of Linda W. Candler and the late Ronald A. Candler.
Jason was a generous and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be remembered for his unending humor and wit, his faith, his enthusiasm for learning history, and his love for everything Lynchburg.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Austin, Carson and Brooke; a sister, Michelle Dixon and husband Michael Dixon, Sr.; three sisters in law, Kimberly Warner and husband Kyle, Bethany Williams and husband Clifton and Amy Strickling and husband Jarred as well as three nieces and nephews, Michael Dixon, Jr., Kaylee Warner and Riley Warner.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Love & Truth Community Church, 3135 Fort Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Jason’s memory be made to Stand Up To Cancer at www.standuptocancer.org or American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org
