Richard "Dick" Henry Hall

Richard Henry “Dick” Hall, 86, of Lynchburg went to be with his Lord, Monday, December 5, 2022. Born in Tonawanda, New York, October 6, 1936, he was the son of the late Robert Hall and Adale Crosby Hall. Dick proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He started his career at Owens Illinois and retired from BGF Industries as the Comptroller. He enjoyed poetry and reading. Dick had a servant’s heart and loved serving others. He was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church where he served as an usher for a number of years. He was a faithful husband and a loving and dedicated father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Earlene Kay Hall; four sons, Richard Hall, Jr., Michael Wayne Hall, Greg Alan Hall and Timothy Robert Hall (Becca); one daughter, Mary Jo Schaper (Shane); 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nieces, Patty Hall and Jackie Wirta and two nephews, Gary Hall and Howard Hall. A memorial service celebrating his life and faith will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
