Reginald Randolph Russell

He was born on October 17, 1951 in Lynchburg, son of the late Webb and Doris Russell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Russell.

Reggie was a retired self-employed contractor. He was a master woodworker and self-taught musician who mastered playing both the piano and guitar.

Left to cherish his memory is his lifelong partner of over 30 years, Deborah Goughnour; and Erik Goughnour who he considered his son, as well as Erik’s wife Vanessa. He is also survived by a dear niece, Ashley Dickinson; a nephew, Andrew Dalton; his dear friend Danny Wright as well as all the beautiful family and friends that loved and helped him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:15 pm Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
