Paul McMillan

Born June 21, 1936, in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Wilfred Estelle McMillan and the late Ellen Raines McMillan and was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Mr. McMillan was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Air Force, where he served twenty-one years. During his years of military service, Mr. McMillan served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He attended Blue Ridge Community Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. McMillan is survived by three daughters, Paula Forrest and her husband Glenn of Bedford and Becky Long and her husband Jimmy, all of Bedford and Donna Cash and her husband Junior of Amherst; two sons, Walter McMillan and his wife Kathy, also of Amherst and Doug Pennington of Hampton; one brother, Lynn McMillan, also of Hampton; one sister, Emma M. Raines of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors by American Legion Post 16 will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Blue Ridge Community Church with the Pastor Jeremy Wilkensen officiating.
