Megan Clarke Tinsley

Megan Clarke Tinsley, 40, of Forest, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on August 19, 1983 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Philip and Carolyn Tinsley. She was preceded in death by her fiancée, Jason Patrick Sutton. Megan's life was a testament to her deep love for animals and her cherished companionship with her dog, Chai. Her hobbies included coloring, reading, writing and activities that allowed her to express her creativity. She loved spending time by the water, either at the beach or along the tranquil banks of the James River. She loved anything related to Disney and enjoyed family trips to Walt Disney World. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Hailey Tinsley Meadows (Eric); her sister, Margaret Tinsley Coussa (Michael); niece, Kaitlynn Coussa; and nephew, Michael Coussa. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pate Chapel of Thomas Road Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Rick Rasberry.
