Manie Reynolds Wilkinson

Manie Belle Reynolds Wilkinson, 91, of Rustburg, passed away, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Runk & Pratt, Pearls of Life. She was the wife of the late Lester Thomas Wilkinson. Born October 28, 1930 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late John Jervers Reynolds and Georgie Hensley Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by seven siblings. Mrs. Wilkinson is survived by two daughters, Melba W. Tanner of Rustburg and Amy W. Stout and husband Bob of Bedford and one son, Ben Wilkinson and wife Anne of Lynchburg. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Chris Tanner and wife Danielle of Rustburg, Melanie Reamy and husband Chris of Bedford, and Thomas Wilkinson and wife Bailie of Evington and five great-grandchildren, Nevan Jordan, Lucy Tanner, James Tanner, Abram Wilkinson, and Sophie Wilkinson. She was the youngest of eight children and grew up on a dairy farm in Rustburg. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and a fun game of baseball. She sang in the choir and enjoyed music and her family. She was a lifetime member of Rustburg Baptist Church and attended Community Fellowship Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Carver officiating. Interment will follow at the Wilkinson Family Cemetery in Rustburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
