Kathleen Cox Dearing, 97, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Frank Dearing.
Born in Danville on January 24, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Erby Cox and Lura Dehart Cox. She was a retired secretary with Page and Wilson Auto Supplies and a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Cox and a son-in-law, David Dearing.
She is survived by her children, Lee Dearing and his wife Cindy of Forest and Ann Dearing of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Randy Dearing and his wife Kyosin of Maryland and Ashlee Evans and her husband Cody of Lynchburg.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, February 5, 2021 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Mack Almond officiating.
