Karl, born in Germany, was a retired
butcher and avid motorcyclist. He is
a Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his beloved wife of
51 years and best friend, Barbara;
daughters Brenda LaFrance of
Chesapeake VA and Karen (Jim)
Olson of Virginia Beach; grandchildren
Joshua (Sarah), Jeremiah, Jacob
(Laura), Sarah (Mike), Connor, and
Ryan; four great-grandchildren; brother
Heinz-Otto of Germany, and sister
Elsbeth of Switzerland.
A funeral service will be conducted
at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28,
2012, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
Interment will follow in Virginia
Memorial Park.
Viewing hours are from 6:30 to
8:00 pm, Friday, January 27, 2012
at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
