Jeanne Bondurant Sarver

Jeanne Bondurant Sarver, age 72 of Rustburg, wife of Bobby Sarver, passed away on Thursday, August 02, 2018. She was born in Lynchburg on May 19, 1946, daughter of the late Roy Clinton Bondurant and the late Ruby Mehaffey Bondurant. Jeanne was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and was retired from the Campbell County School System. She loved to play golf and collect teddy bears. She and Bobby also enjoyed their travels all over the country in their motorhome. In addition to her husband Bobby to whom she had been married for 56 years, she is also survived by two daughters, Terri Laughlin (Aaron) and Robin Gallier (Mark); two brothers, R.C. Bondurant and Tommy Bondurant (Carolyn); one sister, Wanda Womack (Kenny Irby); four grandchildren, Brandy Jennings, Amber Gilbert (Chris), Aaron Gallier (Becky) and Nikky Mantlo (Ryan); seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved canine companion, “Lady”. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Rick Coles officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the funeral home.
