Born in Lynchburg, June 1, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Harry D. Logwood and Mary Briggs Logwood. She was retired from Nationwide Insurance Co. after 33 years of service and was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward Lee Logwood, Richard S. Logwood, Willard “BeBo” Logwood and Harry “Bud” Logwood; one sister, Miriam L. Godsey and her aunt, Miss Bruce Lee Briggs who raised Jeanne and her siblings following her parent’s death.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol H. Keen and her husband William and Connie H. Keeler and her husband Richard all of Lynchburg; one sister, Marjorie L. Parrish of Lynchburg; two granddaughters, Angela K. Marks and her husband Danny and Amy Keen and three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marks, Madelyn Marks and Dylan Marks.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Will Montgomery officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
