James “Stuby” Roger Millner, Sr., age 69 of Evington passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
He was born in Lynchburg on November 9, 1949, son of the late James W. and Sallie B. Millner.
In addition to his family, Stuby’s great loves were his dog, Cricket, and classic Chevrolet cars.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra M. Millner; daughter, Melody J. Millner and her fiancé Matthew Myers; son, JR Millner, Jr.; grandchildren, Parker Boyd and Austin Myers; 2 brothers, Billy Millner and wife Jane and Wayne Millner; 2 sisters, Sandra “Sissy” Hackney and husband Frank, Jr. and Wanda Willis and husband James as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Bill Evans officiating. Interment will follow at the Millner Family Cemetery in Evington. Friends may call from 6 – 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
