George Edward Dolan, 79, of Lynchburg, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Born July 14, 1942 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late John J. Dolan, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Webber Dolan and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Wayne Dolan, Roger Lee Dolan, and John J. Dolan, Jr.
George is survived by three sisters, Mary Bates Abbott, Ruth Dolan Dodson, and Linda Dolan Wilkins, all of Lynchburg.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Carlton Duck and Pastor Sam Stump officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park in Forest.
The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
