Born in Lynchburg, April 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Murrell S. Crews and Myrtle Hesson Crews.
She was retired from Craddock-Terry Shoe Corp. She always had a very sweet disposition and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Garnett Wayne Dolinger, her son, Jerry Wayne Dolinger and one daughter, Elaine D. Hogan.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria D. Wood and Betty D. Layne and her husband Roger all of Lynchburg; one brother, Harold Crews of Madison Heights and five grandchildren, Bryan Layne and his wife Jennifer and their daughter Courtney, Jamie Layne, Robin Wood, Kenneth Wood and Teresa Collins and eight great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Rick Rasberry officiating.
Friends may sign the register and pay their respects on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
