Carol Hendricks Davidson

Carol “Fuzzy” Hendricks Davidson, 58, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Wesley “Joe” Melvin Davidson of 37 years.
Born March 30, 1953 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Willie O’Neal Hendricks and Christine Jordan Hendricks.
She worked as a service rep. for the Social Security Administration office for 32 years and part time for Kroger. She was a member of the Holy Rollers Bowling Assoc. and a member of Blue Ridge Community Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Carrie Davidson Jennings and husband, Jason, Christy Lynn Davidson and partner Judy Davidson; sisters, Yvonne Gibson, Bonnie Dickerson, Betty Carwile and her husband, Warren; grandchildren, Jordan, Abigail, and Walker Jennings and special nephew Timmy Hendricks and wife Lisa all of Lynchburg, and many more nieces and nephews.
Carol is also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph O’Neal Hendricks.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in Fort Hill Memorial Park conducted by Desi Justis associate pastor of Mountain View Church of God.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. today at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.
The family request memorial contributions be made to Special Olympics Virginia Challenge.
