Brenda Maddox Tibbs

Brenda Maddox Tibbs, of Forest, Virginia, passed away on April 29, 2024 at home with her family by her side. She was born on March 17, 1948 to the late Furman L. Maddox and Lena Maddox. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, R. A. Tibbs, Jr. She is survived by her children, Sunny Thornton, Chris (Laurie) Tibbs; grandchildren, Chase Thornton, Wyatt Thornton, Sully Tibbs, Grayson Tibbs, & Story (Robbie) Toney. Graveside funeral services will be held at Lebanon Methodist Church, where Brenda was a long time member, on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00pm. Visitation with the family will be at 1:00pm at the church.
