Billy "Bubba" Lee Wooldridge Jr.

Billy Lee Wooldridge, Jr., 56, of 139 Dog Trail, Concord, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of Josephine “Jody May” Harris Wooldridge.
Born January 14, 1959 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Billy Lee Wooldridge, Sr. and Shirley Burnette Wooldridge and was also preceded in death by his furry friend, Calvin, who went everywhere with him. Billy was a mechanic and loved helping Brian with cars at Hall Battery and loved hunting with all of his buddies at Bucks Only Hunting Lodge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christopher Harris, James Frazier, Jr., Caitlyn Frazier, all of Concord and Angela Ryan Kelly and husband Josh of Altavista; three sisters, Nancy Keyser and husband Wayne of Rustburg, Sandra Canada, and Teresa Shields, both of Lynchburg; nephews, Christopher Hargis and Jeremy Canada and wife Linda; nieces, Brittney Canada and Hailey Keyser; great nephews, Jasper and Hunter Canada; a greatniece, Riley Canada and many cousins and close friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Janet Burton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 p.m. and other times at Billy’s residence and 3238 Mayflower Drive, the home of Sandra Canada.
