Aaron Michael Steele

Aaron Michael Steele, 23, of Lynchburg went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Aaron was born April 6, 1993, in Lynchburg; he was the loving son of Tim and Marlana Burley and Jerry Allen Steele, Jr. While Aaron was waiting to fulfill his dream of becoming a chef, he worked as a cook at Moore’s Country Store. He also enjoyed writing music, singing, sports and playing with his little brothers. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Sparks; his aunt, Linda Burley; and his grandmother, Susan Witt. In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by five siblings, Travis Steele of Lynchburg, Amanda Steele of Forest, Tyler Burley of Lynchburg, Chase Burley of Lynchburg and Reagan Steele of Forest; stepmother, Ginger Steele of Lynchburg; maternal grandmother, Doris Sparks of Connellsville, PA; paternal grandmother, Anne Franklin of Lynchburg; grandfather (Pop), Wayne Burley and his wife Robin of Lynchburg; grandfather, Bill Witt of Lynchburg; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 30, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Rick Magee officiating. The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at the residence of Tim and Marlana Burley.
