I first met Mr. Bob When I was 11 years old with my Dad. He's the reason why I fell in love with scuba diving. So many great memories!

I met Bob many years ago, of course through scuba diving and a friendship was formed from that point on. We spent many hours working on the Vitamin Sea, diving, followed by more work, to working at the quarry, to cooking burgers there, to eating way too much Mexican food at Chi-Chi's. Yeah, the list of good times rolls on. But I wanted to say that Bob was a good man, good friend and had no bad days it seemed. Even if things weren't just right, Bob never let it out. He would help anyone in any manner amd wanted to make sure people around him were happy. I spent many a night on their couch in Fayetteville, all in preparation for a weekend dive or fishing trip. I feel SO lucky to have known Bob, Soni and Paige and enjoyed the times we all spent out on the water. Rest in peace my friend, no need to worry about bottom times or safety stops from now on. You're at peace, enjoy your new life.

Bobby and I were good friends in high school, as well as neighbors.  He was such a great guy and I will always remember his kindness and good looks.  So sorry for your loss.  He was way too young.

Soni, I wanted to let you know how very sorry I am for you and Paige. Bob was like a second father to me and one of my best friends. He was a great guy and a good man. Everyday with him was a chance to learn something about character and how to set the example for others. I will miss him dearly.

Bob was a character. I lived beside yall for 3 years. I remember our "driveway conversations" and how long winded we would get. Wish i would have stopped by after moving back to the east coast. You will be missed.

Mr. Carr was a great teacher, I had the pleasure of being one of his students at Magnolia. I always enjoyed attending his class. My prayers are with the family.

Mr. Carr was a wonderful teacher at Magnolia. I always remembered him and often wondered where he was at. He always spoke of Paige and we always felt close to her through his words and love he shared about her to us. Prayers for his wife and Paige. God Bless you.

Bobby and I were childhood friends and members of LHS Class of 1965.  I am so glad that he was a part of my life and I have many fond memories.  My prayers are with you.  Although I have not seem him since graduation, the photo shows a really good looking man.  I enjoyed viewing your photo album; he surely was a great man and father.  I am so proud to have known him.

Mr. Carr was an awesome teacher at Magnolia. I had the pleasure of being in his class many years ago. He loved his job and was always inspirational to everyone of the children he taught. He will be greatly missed. To the family our prayers are with you.

I am soo sorry he was one of my favorite teachers. I have often wondered where he was. We used to hear all about Paige in school and how wonderful she was... I used to say I would name my daughter Paige because of all the great things I heard about Mr. Carr's daughter. He was a great man. I am soo sorry. He taught me at Magnolia.

Bob and I taught in the same school for many years.  I enjoyed him very much and had lost contact with him.  This is a shock to me and I offer my sympathy to his family.  May God Bless and comfort his family.

Mr. Carr taught me years ago at Magnolia School.  He was one of those teachers that you never forget, no matter how many years go by.  I am saddened to hear of his passing and offer my deepest sympathies to the family.

Soni and Paige, I am so sorry and surprised to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was a lot of fun to work with at South View. He would make us laugh! He loved his family very much ! You will be in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I was fortunate enough to be his coworker at South View High School. I had not seen him for several years so I was quite surprised to hear of his death. Soni and Paige, he loved you very much! You will be in my prayers.

I was only in Lumberton for a year and a half but am proud to say Bobby was one of my friends.We were in Geometry together and played football in '64. He was always fun to be around. Lost touch with so many over the years.

As many others have said, Mr. Carr taught me (or at least did his best to)at Littlefield.  He has touched so many lives in a number of ways.  He will not soon be forgotten.  Prayers to the Carr family

Mr. Carr, what a great teacher he was at Littlefield High. My heart just breaks, he was such a kind man and I've thought of him often through the years. My prayers are with his family and friends in this great loss.

To Bobby's family, I'd like to express my sympathies to all of you. I was so very sorry to hear of his passing. I've not seen Bobby is many, many years, but I still have many fond memories of him. I grew up with him in Lumberton. I always remember his smile, sweet personality, good looks, and athletic abilities. I remember cheering for him and many fun school activities.  I just wish I had been able to have kept up with him through the years.  I know he will be missed, but I'm sure the family has many wonderful memories of him to help ease the pain of his loss.

I never saw Bob without a smile. Wonderful photo gallery. (I like the moustache too). There's no doubt that Bob is looking down with that grin of his and thinking how proud he is of you and all you've done these past few years. Soni, I love you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to read about the loss of a great person. I taught with Bob for several years at Littlefield High School where we shared some fun times with other faculty members and students.
