Lessie Anderson McKinley age 97, of Columbia, MS departed this life into God’s presence on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was a faithful Christian who loved God dearly. Lessie made donations to St. Jude faithfully.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Anderson and later by her second husband, Joe McKinley; parents, George and Colie Beach; three infant sons; one granddaughter, Kimberly Smith; two sisters, Doilene Sistruck and Bonnie Bolin; four brothers, Harold Beach, Ray Beach, Ottis Beach and Bobby Beach.
Left to forever cherish her memory are her three daughters, Willene Bond (Henry Earl) of Purvis, MS, Billie Jean Hollie (James) of Lumberton, MS and Jan Davis (Terry) of Columbia, MS; nine grandchildren, Tony Bond of Lumberton, MS, Sandra Byrd of Brooklyn, MS, Tim Bond (Tammy) of Brandon, MS, Kay Sones (Ben) of Carriere, MS, Bryce Smith of Dallas, TX, Denny Smith of Lumberton, MS, Jimmy L. Davis of Columbia, MS, Jerry W. Davis of Columbia, MS, Terry Jason Davis (Nicole) of Dreston, TN, 25 great grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Lessie's visitation on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 474 Okahola Road, Purvis, Mississippi. Lessie's funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Hartfield Cemetery, Purvis, Mississippi. Serving as pallbearers are, Tim Bond, Jr. Anderson, James Walter Anderson, Jerry Davis, Levi Couty and Gabe Beasley.
