LaVerne Marie Davis

Mrs. Davis was born September 5th, 1930 to Leo and Irene Walker Sheffield. She was the owner of Davis Dry Cleaners in Lumberton and a member of First Baptist Church, Lumberton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hurldon Davis; and one son, Leo Davis.

Family members include one daughter, Kathryn Collins and her husband Danny of Madison, MS; one brother, Ottis Sheffield and his wife Janean of Hurley, MS; three grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Stephen (Kelsey) Davis, Nikki (Andrew) Cox; three great grandchildren, Kinsley, Grey, and James.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church, 103 E Hinton Ave, Lumberton on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Davis Family Cemetery. Visiting from 9:30 am until services, Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church, Lumberton.
