Mary Jane Woolwine Gray was born April 21, 1944 in Diamond, West Virginia to Golden and Sylvia Woolwine. She passed from this earth to be with our Heavenly Father November 1, 2024 in Ada, Oklahoma. She was 80 years old.
She loved the Lord and going to church. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, sewing, reading, cooking, helping others, but mostly she loved her family and took great joy in her great grand daughters.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Midkiff and husband Randy, Julie Hatton, Lisa Beecher and husband Woody, and Hassie Taylor. Grandchildren, Jason Goodman and wife, Jennifer, Joshua Goodman, Amanda Thetford, and husband Raymond, Bryar Beecher and wife Dustye, Rachel Taylor and life partner Carlos Romero, Elizabeth Hatton, Brick Beecher and wife Jessica, Holly Taylor, Brindy Beecher and Lauren Taylor, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and her “other”children she helped raise over the years.
She shared a wonderful relationship with her surviving sister Sandra Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Golden and Sylvia Woolwine, husband James E. Gray, brothers, Charles, Junior, Bobby, Paul, sister, Loretta, Son Jamie Gray, son-in-law, Brian Taylor, grand daughters, Hannah, Heather, and Belle.
Pallbearers: Woody Beecher, Bryar Beecher, Brick Beecher, Jason Goodman, Joshua Goodman, Eli Goodman
Services will be held at Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home in Lufkin, TX on November 7, 2024. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am and service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs, TX
