

Services for William “Nat” Andrews, 85, of Lubbock, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Redbud Baptist Church. A second service for William “Nat” Andrews, 85, formerly of Ball Ground, GA will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2010, at the 1st Baptist Church Cemetery, Ball Ground, GA., with burial following. Nat passed away on Monday, June 28th.
Mr. Andrews was born on Feb 10, 1925, in Jefferson, GA to Ralph Cash and Nena Mae Pinson Andrews. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Lifsey Andrews, in 1994.
He received Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Emory University in 1950. Upon his retirement in 1985, from IBM, he enrolled full time in the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminay, graduating in 1996. He was involved in 15 mission trips in eleven countries over a period of 10 years.
He married Mary Beth Adamson of Lubbock, on Nov 8, 2004.
Survivors include his wife, four sons, William “Ken” Andrews and wife, Pat, of Panama City, FL, Stanley N. Andrews and wife, Sheila, of Lawrenceville, GA, Darrell Lee Andrews, Sr. and wife Cathy, of Ball Ground, GA, and Wayne Lifsey Andrews of Monroe, GA; two step sons, Rod Adamson and wife, Linda, of Ruidoso, NM and Rex Adamson and wife, Charmaine, of Lubbock; one brother, Bob Andrews and wife, Lanore, of Easley, S.C.; eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
In liew of flowers, memorials are suggested to Redbud Baptist Church, or First Baptist Church of Ball Ground, GA.
The family will receive friends at the church, beginning one hour prior to services.
