Wanda Lee Perry, 95, of Odessa, TX; entered eternal rest on October 4, 2021. Born in Slaton, TX on May 6, 1926 to the late George Bowers and Florence Elizabeth Forrest; she now reunites with her parents, her husband, Lloyd A. Perry; and sister Margaret Weaver.
Wanda was the forever “Doll” to her late husband of 59 years. Together they had 4 children: Gary (Kathleen) Perry, Sheleene (James) McCluskey, Jane (Eddie) Scoggins, and Teresa Perry. She sparkled at being a mother to her children, making them clothes at times, and cherished her memories she made with them. She was one to always stay busy, whether it would be window shopping, making quilts, embroidering, doing puzzles or coloring. Her love for her family always came first, and the fond memories she made will forever be embarked in their hearts.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her four children; grandchildren: Heather, Miranda, Amy, Jeremy, Ali; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Ethan, Dylan, Daniel, Nick, Riley, Drew; sister, Geraldine Trevino; and nieces, Liz and Denise.
The family will be receiving guests at South Crest Baptist Church on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 9am with a Celebration of her life at 10am. Interment will follow in Idalou Cemetery.
