She graduated from Sudan High School and married Charles Thomas “Tom” Boone on October 17, 1963. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2002. Wanda was a hairdresser for many years at the Highland Beauty Salon in Lubbock. She loved her family deeply and had a very strong Christian faith. She was a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church.
Wanda is survived by a daughter; Brenda (Barry) Fuller of Arlington, TX and a son Charles Allen Boone of Lubbock, four grandchildren; Hayden, Harrison, Hattie and Hope Fuller, three brothers; Dwayne Powell and Donald Lee Powell, both of Sudan and Ronald Powell of Tulsa, OK.
