Trinidad Mendoza, 91, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at her home in Lubbock. She was born June 24, 1921 in Georgetown, Texas to Juan and Anita Aguirre.
She married Pablo Mendoza in 1942 and she was a devout Catholic.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Raymond, Johnny, Rudy, Joe, Miguel and Joe Rudy; and her daughters, Erminia Martinez and Mary Helen Mendoza; sister, Jesusa Agirre; 24 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband and daughter, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Rosary will be held Sunday and Monday at 7 pm at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. A mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 15, at 10 am at St Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Garden Memorial Park.
