He married Mary Helen Knox on Oct. 29, 1999 in Lubbock. He was a devoted member of Oakwood United Methodist Church, where he and Mary Helen served faithfully as a Church Visitation Team for as long as his health permitted.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Nanci Wall Donahoo, wife, Norma LeBoeuf Wall, step-daughter, Debbie LeBoeuf Gregory, and two brothers, Glenn Dale Wall and Dee Royce Wall.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen, step-children Chris LeBoeuf, Jerry, Danny and Jay Knox, Judy Briggs, grandsons Freddy, Shane and Colt Donahoo, Jason LeBoeuf, and Shawn Thomas, granddaughter Kathy LeBoeuf Klopp, six step-grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends with whom he kept in close contact in person or by telephone.
A life-long Christian and follower of his Lord Jesus Christ, Richard shared his love for Jesus on a daily basis by witnessing to others with whom he came in contact. His voice message on his answering machine ended with “Remember to stand up for Jesus”.
Family visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock.
Memorial services will be held Saturday July 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Oakwood United Methodist Church, 2215 58th St. in Lubbock, with nephew Rev. Jim Irwin and Pastor Rob Lindley of Oakwood UMC officiating.
