Mikayla was a loving daughter, sister, niece, and cousin. She loved life and would light up a room. Her smile was infectious and all who knew her, loved her. She had enough sass to go around the room twice and then some. She was a first grader at Lubbock Cooper North. You would often find her playing with her makeup, playing games with her brother, outside, or dancing. She loved to praise Jesus with her singing. Her favorite song was “See a Victory”. She got what she so longed for. She would often remind us that she changed her name to BUG!
Mikayla was preceded in death by her brother Jonathon and sister Mia. She is survived by her father and mother, Michael and Josie; twin brother Christian, sister Angel, and brother Zeke. Mikayla will be missed and never forgotten.

A visitation will be at 6PM and a Rosary at 7PM, Tuesday February 9, 2021 at Resthaven Funeral Home's Abbey Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00PM Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
