Margaret was a dedicated public servant and a devoted follower of Christ. Margaret's commitment to serving the State of Texas for three decades stands as a testament to her unwavering work ethic and dedication. Her contributions left a lasting impact on the community she served.
Margaret's profound faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and infusing her interactions with compassion and kindness. Her devotion to her Christian beliefs not only shaped her character but also inspired those around her.
Margaret's legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the values she instilled in those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by husband David Tichnor, brothers James Merrill and John Robertson and mother Birdie Mobley.
She is survived by her son Anthony Raney of Lubbock, her sister Peggy and husband Phil Petri of Lacey Springs, AL, Nephew Willian Petri, his wife Heejung and family of San Diego CA, Tina Steinman and husband paul of Linn MO, and niece Deeanna Blankenship and sons Kirk and Chris of Fort Worth TX. Margaret's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the lessons she imparted will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
