Guadalupe "Lupe" V. Pena entered eternal rest on June 10, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born July 18th, 1931 in Robstown, TX to Carlos and Asulema Vega. She moved to Wolfforth in 1971 where she lived a wonderful and full life. She worked as a healthcare provider and raised her children.
In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo,doing arts and crafts, painting her fingernails, and watching sports, especially Tony Dorsett and Tiger Woods. She was an active member of St. Joseph's church where she was a member of the Guadalupana Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Larry Pena, brother Sam Vega, and sisters Juanita Rodriguez and Manuela Perez. She is survived by her children: Juanito Vasquez, Rey Pena and wife Mary, Mary Koontz and Husband Billy Sr., Angie Pena, and Danny DeLaRosa; grandchildren: Billy Koontz Jr, Christopher Vasquez, Dillon Pena, Monica Koontz, Marissa Schafer, and Lauren Hernandez Pena;
great-grandchildren: Angel, Jeremiah , and Ashton Schafer, Braelee Koontz; her brothers: Robert Vega, Abel Vega, Carlos Vega, Joe Vega and Frank Vega; sisters, Irma saldana and Dora Blanco; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family invites you to join them as they celebrate her life with visitation beginning on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 5pm - 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm. Funeral Mass will follow at 10am on Monday, June 20, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
