Jo Ann was born April 3, 1935 to Clyde and Grace Carroll in Hamlin, Texas.
She graduated from Hamlin High School where she was a cheerleader for the Hamlin Pied Pipers.
She married Ray Estill March 1, 1978.
For 18 years she worked for Ruff & Hall Drug Stores as a cosmetician and then managed the fine jewelry department for Sears for 10 years.
Jo Ann loved to watch her grandchildren play baseball, football and basketball. And more than anything she loved Southcrest Baptist Church and all that worship there.
Left to cherish Jo Ann’s memory are; her husband of 38 years, Ray Estill of Lubbock; daughter Debbie Givens and husband Ken of Lubbock; son Mark Butler and wife Jill of San Angelo; Brother, Bennie Carroll and wife Bea of Abilene; Grandchildren Amanda Butler, Brett Butler and wife Devan, Zack Butler, Jake Butler, Amy Montoya and husband Robert, Nathan Dunn and wife Jennifer, Macy Hale and Great-Grandchildren Robert Noah Montoya, Mason Montoya, David Dilley, Corey Dunn and Beckett Butler.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the Southcrest Baptist Church Building Fund.
