Goldia Faye House

Goldia Faye House of Shallowater, Texas passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in a nursing home in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 83. She was born September 18, 1934, in Lamar County, Texas to James and Leta Faye Holley.

Goldia worked as a switchboard operator until retirement and was a devout Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Theresa Atchley of Lubbock, Texas, and Randy Atchley of Shallowater, Texas; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorthea Williams of Shallowater, Texas, and Norma Holley of Shallowater, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
