He graduated from New Deal High School in 1943 and soon entered the United States Army; serving during World War II in the European Campagin with the 1019 Treadway Bridge Company.
George married Lucille Matus on March 27, 1951; they were married for 64 years. George was a farmer until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of Christ the King Cathedral and was a 4th degree Knight. He served several years on the Lorenzo School Board and also the Lorenzo COOP Gin Board.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Ann Jackson, Angelina Provine; brothers, Henry Kveton, and John Kveton.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lucille; daughter, Nancy (Mike) Madry; son, George Kveton, Jr.; sister, Rose Krupala (George); sister-in-law, Dorothy Kveton; grandson, Greg Madry and many close friends he considered family.
