Fred was born June 11, 1929 in Denver, Colorado. Fred served his country honorably in the Unites States Army and proudly served his community as a Fireman for the City of Lubbock. He loved Texas Tech football but not as much as he loved to camp and fish. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Fred is survived by the love of his life, Shirley A. Burris; children, Don Burris (Sandy), Roy Burris (Marlene), Chuck Burris (Beverly), Billy Burris (Carlene); grandchildren, Wendell, Jolene, Brent, Chad, Keshia, and Josh; great-grandchildren, Emmy, Cooper, Colt, Chase, Bethany, Katie; great-great-grandchildren, Brayden and Lilly.
