He was a truck driver for over 40 years. He loved his family more than life itself. He enjoyed watching football and baseball. His favorite football teams were Nebraska Corn Huskers and Texas Tech Red Raiders; his favorite baseball team was the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed watching race car shows.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eulalia Cantu and three sisters: Angie Zavala, Rosie Cantu and Janie Ramirez.
He is survived by three daughters: Yvonne Guitierrez and husband, Jonathan Guitierrez, Jessica Santos, Yolanda Vasquez and husband, Abel Vasquez; two sons, Edward Santos Jr and Edward Santos Jr III; six grandchildren: Jordan Santos, Jonathan Santos, Ethan Santos and Nathan Santos, Devan Vasquez and Matthew Vasquez; also loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel.
Daddy was always a fighter. A very loving and traditional man. We will always keep his memory alive.
