Don C Isbell, 87, passed away Monday September 1, 2014 in Lubbock. He was born January 27, 1927 in Memphis TX to Thomas Duskin and Lucille Isbell. Don served in the US Navy during WWII. He became a police officer for Lubbock Police Department and later went to work for Merchants Fast Motor Lines as a truck driver. Don loved to fish and was always positive and uplifting, making everyone smile. He dearly loved his family and was always there for them in times of need.
Don is survived by his daughter, Diane Moss, granddaughters, Samantha Moss and Briane Moss, great granddaughter Taylen Parrish all of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be tonight, September 2, 2014 from 6 to 7 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 3, at 10 am in Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel followed by burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
