Her incredible sense of compassion and empathy for people in need, whether it be family, friends, or strangers lucky enough to cross her path, were testaments to her amazing heart and desire to love people despite her overwhelming circumstances and physical limitations.
She retired from the State of Texas after fourteen years, and spent the rest of her years spoiling her beloved grandchildren, their friends, and any other child that needed the love of a Grammy.
Crystal enjoyed reading, gardening, and everything about the beach.
She is survived by her husband Ted of 45 years, her four children: Shellie, Shawna, Misty and Chad. Her six grandchildren: Ashton, Ayden, Kerstan, Brianne, Hunter and Colten. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Vivian as well as her sister Gayle.
