Celeste Schroeder

Graveside services for Celeste Lueck Schroeder, 87, of Slaton will be held at 11 am, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Celebration of Life services will follow at 12:00 pm at Canyon (Lubbock) United Methodist Church with Lee Rice officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, September 10 from 6pm to 8pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Celeste was born October 19, 1922 in Bell County, Texas to Fred and Frieda (Pressler) Lueck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, parents, and a sister, Florene Kollen.

Those left to cherish her memory are son; Bobby Schroeder of Seminole, daughter; Joyce Dunn and husband Bob of Slaton, sister; Lenore Coble of Llano, grandchildren; Karen Pyle and husband, David, Michael Marsh, Tina Riley and husband Russell, Paul Dunn, Felicia Dunn, Maaika Marsh Godfrey and husband, David, Dawn Phillips, great grandchildren; Allison, David, Jr. and William Pyle, Adam Riley, Alexis Godfrey, Heather and Lauren Phillips and Jesse Nash and extended family Sheryl Kinney, Tippy Harmon Hays, Tracy Trent and Shannon Walker.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Ira Lee Thomas, VistaCare Hospice, Gracie Grisby, RN, David Hunsaker, RN and caregivers; Mary Lopez, Norma Austin and Theda Phillips.
