Carrol Gene “Rattler” Davis, who suffered from Congestive Heart Failure, passed away March 14, 2015 at the age of 87.
He was born to Bascom and Nina Davis on January 24, 1928 in Ralls, TX. Carrol spent part of his life serving in the Army as a Combat Battalion Engineer in Hanau, Germany; as a partner in the Adcom Commodities Co, a brokerage firm and Carrol continued to serve citizens in the Albuquerque, NM and Fort Worth, TX areas.
Carrol is survived by five sisters, Wanda McCuan, LaMoyne O’Neill, Louise Webb, Pegge Roberts and Beth Brown all of Lubbock and a brother, Jim Davis of Tularosa, NM; 14 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Iva Ready of Levelland.
