Betty Lou Andrews, 77, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. Mrs. Andrews was born on September 15, 1939 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Troy and Pearl McCollum. She married Earl Clayton Andrews on December 1, 1962 at her parent’s home in Wolfforth, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2016 after 54 years of marriage together.
Mrs. Andrews graduated from Frenship High School where she was a member of the girls’ basketball team, but she enjoyed sports of all kinds. Betty was a very stylish lady, and loved shopping. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, and they traveled across many parts of the country. Most of all Betty cherished her family, especially her two grandsons, and great-grandson. She was a good sister, friend, and grandmother. Betty will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory are, her daughter; Carrie Barron and husband Michael, two precious grandchildren; Andrew Cole Barron and wife Jordan, and Avery Wyatte Barron. Mrs. Andrews also leaves behind her precious great-grandson Clayton Michael Barron, and one sister Beatrice Drachenberg.
